Nuclear Pollution

Nuclear power stations make electricity without burning fossil fuels. But radioactive waste is produced which is very dangerous if humans and wildlife are exposed to it. It must be stored properly, in secure containers. Sometimes nuclear waste leaks from these containers, causing major environmental problems.
